EMDR through telehealth

EMDR can be offered through secure telehealth when it is clinically appropriate. Before beginning trauma-focused work, your therapist will thoughtfully consider factors such as your goals, current supports, comfort with virtual care, and the level of safety and stability needed for the process. Together, you will determine the format and pace that best support your care, so you can feel grounded, prepared, and supported throughout therapy.

No. You do not have to describe every detail of what happened to begin healing. EMDR can help you work with the impact of difficult experiences while moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

EMDR may be a helpful option if past experiences still affect how you feel, think, relate to others, or respond to stress. Your free consultation is a chance to talk through your needs and determine whether EMDR feels like the right fitEMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) may be a good fit if difficult experiences from your past still seem to affect your life today, even if those experiences happened years ago. Sometimes unresolved experiences can show up as anxiety, feeling easily overwhelmed, low self-esteem, difficulty trusting others, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, or feeling “stuck” in the same patterns despite understanding why they happen.

During your free consultation, we’ll talk about what has been bringing you to therapy, your goals, and whether EMDR is the right approach for you. This is a no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions, learn how EMDR works, and decide if it feels like the right fit for your healing journey.
